Age Level Descriptions
T-Ball: Spring $50
This group is for players that are new to the sport and typically 4 or 5 years old. The practices/games are held for an hour, once a week on Saturday mornings. We typically have our older Wave Runner travel players help at these sessions to engage the players and make it more interactive and fun for the kids. We will begin to teach good softball habits to our youngest players and look to set a good foundation for our future all stars! Players at this level will receive a t-shirt jersey. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet.
8u: Spring $80
This division is for players that are 8 years old or younger as of January 1, 2024. Teams in this division typically have one or two practices per week and one game per week, typically on Saturdays. This is a “coach pitch” division where we start to introduce more softball skill development into each session. Players at this level will receive a t-shirt jersey. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet. Fielding facemasks are provided by the league, although we do recommend each player eventually buys their own if parents feel as though players will continue to play for multiple seasons. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet.
10u: Spring $80
This division is for players that are 10 years old or younger as of January 1, 2024. Teams in this division typically have one or two practices per week and two games per week. In this division players and coaches will pitch every other inning. These player pitched innings are key to our sustainability as a successful league and town program. Players at this level will receive a jersey. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet. Fielding face masks are provided by the league, although we do recommend each player eventually buys their own if parents feel as though players will continue to play for multiple seasons. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet. Teams in this division may play crossover games with the Chariho Girls Softball League.
Juniors: Spring $80
This division is for players that are in 5th - 8th grade. Teams in this division typically have one or two practices per week and two games per week. This is a 100% player pitch division that mirrors a typical softball game. Players at this level will receive a jersey. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet. Fielding Face masks are provided by the league, although we do recommend each player eventually buys their own if parents feel as though players will continue to play for multiple seasons. Players are responsible to provide their own glove and helmet. Teams in this division may play crossover games with the Chariho Girls Softball League.
